Hello, my name is Madeleine and I was the student leader for today, which means that I get to be your student blogger!

After our second night in the Picos de Europa, we had an early start as we headed to a rocky strip of waterfalls and rivers. We met our guides at an opening to a small forest where we put on wetsuits, helmets, and harnesses. We hiked to a pool underneath a waterfall and the guides explained the safety rules. Then we were off to sliding down slippery rocks in a river and rappelling down waterfalls!

We then returned to the hotel where we ate spaghetti, croquettes, and custard for el postre. We had some rest time and watched a movie together called La Llamada, a classic Spanish comedy. Then we headed to dinner across from the hotel. For our nightly activity, we were each assigned a group with a different topic on the history of Spain which we will present tomorrow.
